Upgraded Clothes Pins
Wooden clothes pins have so many uses and can be used in a lot of crafts, but. . . they’re kind of boring to look at. All brown and wood looking. No fun. In this post today, I’m going to show you a quick easy way to spruce up your clothes pins so that no matter what you use them for, they will add color and fun into your life and crafts.
You’ll Need
Wooden Clothes Pins
Washi Tape; Marker; Paint (pick one)
1. Washi tape is just a decorative tape. It can usually be found in a scrapbook aisle or other craft isle. A popular brand that makes them is Scotch. I buy them up when they’re on sale on in the $1 aisle at Target. It can be used for a lot of different crafts.
Tear off a piece of Washi tape that is just a bit larger than the clothes pin.
2. Place the tape on the flat side of the clothes pin.
3. Fold the tape over the two long sides first. Then, fold the extra tape over the ends.
4. Repeat on the other side.
Now, you have beautifully decorated clothes pins with minimal effort. You can also color or paint the clothes pins but I find the tape to be the easiest method. Below is a picture of the ones Bug and I made for their art banner.
